Why is everyone so eager to "kick 2009 to the curb"? I had a great year. And you know, it's not really 2009's fault that people had bad ones. It's the people in your life that made it suck. 2010, a year changing, isn't going to solve all of your problems, and there's not a huge difference in time between 2009-2010...so I hope people aren't banking on the year changing for a better time.
I'm teasing and I'm being facetious. I know perfectly well what people mean by wanting a fresh start, and I want that too :)
2009 favorites of mine:
1. Eli taking me to Macaroni Grill for Valentines Day! yummy!
2.Randi and Austin's wedding!
3.Sarah and Mitch's wedding!
4. Seeing the London Symphony Orchestra with my dad, Eli, Katie, Jamie, and Ryan. Quinton also snuck in for free...
5. My 20th birthday party!!!!
6. When Jamie came to visit me before she went to Tennessee...a few small adventures here and there.
7. The first time I saw Eli after going 3 weeks without seeing him because I was home and he was working in Tampa.
8. Going to the Bodies exhibit with Eli.
9. The Metro Beach retreat. BIG BABY AND THE CRACK!
10. I got a job at the preschool and I loved working there.
11. My cousins from Alabama came and stayed with us and it was a blast!
12. 4th of July fireworks and gathering.
13. Moving into my apartment that I share with Katie, Jamie, and Sarah Monson.
14. Getting to know Sarah Monson and her love for Unicorns.
15. The many days of shopping at Thrift stores in the ghetto of Tampa
16. Jeff and Jenny taking over RUF
17. Jeff and Jenny having baby Jake <3
18. Going over to my french professor's place and watching a movie, it was fun!
19 My parents getting a new house to live in permanently, so they're no longer crammed in the beach street house.
20. RUF breakfast party/top gun party
21. Weekly music practice with Heather, Grant, and Eric.
22. RUF in general has made me really happy with how unified it's getting.
23. Girl's study on wednesday nights. SUCH sweet fellowship!
24. Eli and I finally going to a church that we believe is right for us!
25. West Virginia Football game with my sisters and later that night going to Denny's and to Daniel's studio!
26. Gabe and Jen's get togethers with us in the spring, but also just recently.
27. Celebrating our year anniversary this summer, and our year and a half in St. Augustine
28. Christmas Eve at Eli's house, Christmas Day at mine
29 Murder Mystery Party!
30. Finally finding a good dentist!
