One Year Six Months

Haven't updated in a long time according to Kim Lapidus, LOVE YOU KIM, THANKS FOR READING!!!!!!
Merry (Belated) Christmas, everyone. I had a wonderful holiday with my family and Eli's family as well. It was special this year because after opening a few gifts with my family on Christmas Eve, all of this following church of course, I went over to Eli's parent's house and we had a little bon fire. I don't know them very well but it was nice to spend time with them. Eli came over to my parent's house for Christmas day and wouldn't you know....Santa left some presents at our house for Eli this year! He must have been a very good boy ;) I think he was, at least. He got me opal earrings for Christmas. They're beautiful, and natural! He spoils me and yes, I tell him he shouldn't. I don't encourage it but I'll take it!

Today, December 29th, 2009, marks mine and Eli's year and a half. One year, six months ago we realized we had been in love with each other but too afraid to really admit to ourselves how we felt. It's been a rapid, and at times, stressful, roller coaster but God has really stretched me and taught me how to really love someone unconditionally. I don't know how people can really love each other without knowing God's love. I couldn't be more thankful for Eli's friendship and even his counsel on some areas in my life. He is the most gentle person ever and even when I get frustrated with him he miraculously, no doubt by God's grace, calms me down in such a way that I fall more and more in love with him when he does it.

Tomorrow I will have more to blog about because Eli and I are going to St. Augustine with our friends, Heather and Grant! It's gonna be a great time!
